Internet search on steroids
While Google is still the big kahuna of search, there are other interesting alternative search engines worth a look. Microsoft’s Bing is perhaps the most interesting new kid on the search block.
However, most people stick with just one tried-and-true search engine and can’t be bothered switching between two or more.
Unfortunately, that can mean they miss out on finding the perfect Web site for their needs, because each search engine uses different algorithms to trawl the Net.
That’s where Bingle comes in handy. It displays search results for both Google and Bing, either independently, or side by side, so you get the best of both worlds without the need for chopping and changing between the two. And you’ll be amazed at the different page ranking results you get when you opt for the side-by-side view.
The only downside is that you can’t get Australia-specific search returns, as you can in Google by using the .com.au URL. However, if that option is important to you, just add :au after your search term and you’ll be in business.
