A treasure trove of Australian information
The National Library of Australia holds a treasure trove of information on Australia’s past and present in many forms, and it has done an excellent job utilising the Internet to make those resources accessible to ordinary Australians, wherever they live.
Its latest online project is Trove, a search facility that explores the deep Web for all manner of resources on Australia and Australians.
The resources it searches from its own holdings and those of other various Australian institutions include Australian newspapers from 1903 to 1954, diaries, journals, books, magazines, articles, letters, archives, maps, photos, music, sound,video and more.
Trove is a brilliant resource for researchers, students and anyone with an interest in finding out more about Australian history.
