Get folding with Origami Club

If you’re looking for something to keep the kids busy — something that you’ll probably enjoy doing with them — during the colder months or rainy days when they’re stuck inside, you should check out the Origami Club Web site.

It has hundreds of cool origami projects to try, divided into over 20 themes and catering for all skill levels. Each project has step-by-step instructions in two forms: diagrams and animations.

Not all the projects are purely decorative; in the Useful section, there are lots of, well, useful things you can make, such as a variety of boxes and a photo frame and stand. And many of the projects across the categories would make good, cheap gifts for kids to give, especially with Mothers’ Day coming up.

New projects are added regularly, so check back periodically. Keep this one bookmarked for the next school holidays!
