Simple and versatile screen-capture add-on for Firefox

If you have the need to capture images of your computer screen, you’ll know that the Print Screen key on your keyboard won’t always do the trick.

Often you want to capture more of a Web page than appears on your screen, particularly if you’re using a Netbook, where the screen architecture is so much smaller. Or maybe you only want to capture a small area of a Web page.

If you’re a Firefox user, the ScreenGrab! add-on, which is available from here, may be a good one for you. It lets you take a screenshot of your computer screen with options for capturing the whole page, what appears on your screen, or just a portion on the screen.

You can save or copy the screenshot as either a PNG or JPG file (the quality of the PNG is way better than the JPG).
