Another ‘sale a day’ site
There are some great bargains to be had on the many ‘sale a day’ sites that have sprung up over the last couple of years.
If you’re unfamiliar with this online shopping phenomenon, what these sites do is offer one product for sale for 24 hours, or until sold, at drastic reductions on the recommended retail price.
The latest addition to this online shopping space is 1 Sale a Day. Like other sites in this genre, it offers a selected product for 24 hours (or until stocks are exhausted), starting at midnight each day.
One quirky thing that 1Sale a Day has that differentiates it from similar sites is its other ‘of the day’ offerings — a daily joke, a stat, a history fact, a featured word and a ‘buzz’ — which you’ll find running across the bottom of the home page. Consequently, it positions itself as providing a “daily experience” rather than just a shopping fix.
Payments can be made via Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.
With the number of sites now offering this type of service, you could just about spend the 24-hour time frame trawling the daily bargains, so sign up to receive email or RSS notification of their deals, or use one of the ‘sale a day’ aggregators such as Darren Yates’ BargainHunter, DealSucker and DealDump — both strategies will save you heaps of time.
