Quick and easy photo card maker

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to make cards or invitations for Christmas, New Year, a birthday, Valentine’s Day, a wedding, an anniversary or pretty much any occasion for that matter, you should check out Kigo Photo Card Maker.

And with Christmas looming large, you can simply email your masterpiece to friends and relatives and you won’t need to worry about whether it’s going to make it through the mail system in time — and you won’t even have to spring for cards and stamps!

When I say this program is quick and easy, I’m not kidding. Just download the program from here (it’s a 4M file), choose a template, add your own digital photo and text message and you’re done!

There are free templates included in the program download sorted into eight categories — cartoon, general, holiday, Christmas, seasonal, sport, travel and others — but make sure you check out the extra templates that are available for download from the developer’s site (click on the Template tab) and import them, too. Templates are being added to the site all the time, so make sure you check back periodically to see what’s new.

Although the templates are pre-made, they are quite customisable — you can modify your picture by zooming in and out, rotating left and right, flipping or mirroring, and you can resize text boxes, drag and drop them into different locations and change the font style and size.

Once you’re happy with your creation, you can save it as an image file (JPEG, BMP or PNG formats) and it’s good to go.
