Free legal guides online
Heaven forbid you should find yourself in trouble with the law, but if you do and you live in New South Wales, you might want to head to the Find Legal Answwrs section of the State Library of NSW site and read the online legal guides there.
There are three guides on common legal topics available for reading on the site at present: Defend Yourself: Facing a Charge in Court; Guilty Your Honour: Representing Yourself in New South Wales Law Courts When Charged With Drink Driving; and Guide to Willis and Estates.
Of course, if you are subject to legal action, you’ll want to get yourself professional representation, but these guides will at least get you up to speed with the processes and procedures involved to help you best aid in your own defence.
