Take a squiz at these cool calling cards

SquizOK, I’ll confess: I’m a stationery tragic. Not only am I a sucker for a stylish business card, but I can’t go past a cool notebook, funky Post-Its and the like and my love of spending time in Officeworks is only rivaled by my obsession with Bunnings and other hardware stores.

So, imagine my joy when I learned of a new calling card that’s now available from the Squiz Cards site.

Squiz Cards are cool little calling cards that are smaller than a conventional business card (53 by 28mm) and made from plastic, so there are no more nasty surprises when you lift up the washing machine lid to find the laundered remains of that business card you left in your jeans’ pocket all over your clothes — and why is it that it’s always the wash that has all the black socks in it?

Squiz Cards are perfect for people for whom a business card isn’t really appropriate, but want want to create a card to facilitate their social life. The card only accommodates limited text, for instance, your name, email address and phone number, although you can print whatever information you like, as long as it is fits.

There are loads of templates on the site, which you can customise by font selection, postitioning and adding an image, and you can browse through these or filter your search results by colour.

Once you’ve designed your card to your satisfaction, you can order them in batches of 50, 100 or 200, starting at $AU19.95. You can also buy Squiz Card accessories, such as a keyring card dispenser, so you can have your cards on hand all the time, ready for any opportunity to self-promote.
