View documents online
Ever received a document that you couldn’t open on your computer because you didn’t have the corresponding software to do so? Well, if you find yourself in this predicament, help is now at hand and all you’ll need is a browser.
You can do this simply by heading online to a great Web service called View Docs Online. There you can upload your document and view it online, then share, embed, save or export the document as a PDF file.
The site lets you view files with the following file extensions: doc, docx, ppt, pptx, pps, xls, xlsx, pdf, ps, odt, odp, sxw, sxi, txt and rtf.
Check out this video to see how to use the service. Unfortunately, it has no sound, but it will give you a good idea of what the site is capable of doing.
