Recycle your old eye glasses

OneSightEven if you are very frugal and use your eye glass frames though a couple of lens changes, the time comes when you just want a new look. And when that time comes, what do you do with your old glasses? Chuck them in the bin?

Don’t even think about it! Thanks to the OneSight Foundation, you can now give better sight to the underprivileged by recycling your old glasses — they may not be any use to you anymore, but they can make the world of difference to a someone less fortunate.

In the last five years, the OneSight Foundation has helped 155,000 people in Australia and New Zealand alone to better sight in Australia and New Zealand and you can be a part of this great effort. This is definitely a case of what is one person’s trash is another person’s treasure — you can change someone’s life and it won’t cost you a cent.

You can drop off your old glasses at the following participating optometrists: OPSMLaubman & Pank, and Budget Eyewear.
