The ultimate shopping comparison site

HagoogleShopping comparison sites can save you heaps of time and money when you’re searching for online bargains, but using just one will mean that you still miss out on some good deals — while there are quite a few comparison sites around now, they all only search the online retailers that are registered with their particular service.

That’s why Haggle Search, or Hagoogle, as it calls itself, is such a welcome addition to the comparison space, albeit a very different animal than what we’re used to with price comparison sites. It it a meta search engine that searches over 50 Australian comparison and individual shopping sites for whatever you’re looking for.

You can head to the site and enter your search term or, if you are a Firefox user, you can go to the Google search box in the top right of the screen, click on the arrow next to the Google icon and click on the Add Haggle Search option from the drop-down menu to keep the search option there ready to hand whenever you want to do price comparisons.

On the site, you’ll see a drop-down box with Google Web Search as the default, which means you can use it in this mode for normal Google searches, but if you click on the arrow on the right of the box, you’ll be presented with several search modes. Not surprisingly, for price comparisons, you need to select Price Comparisons from this drop-down list. Try out the other options as well while you’re at it.
