Organise your life online

Diary.comIf you want to keep track of your daily life, Diary.com is a great place to do it.

It’s a neat online service that’s free to use where you can set up a calendar to keep track of appointments, a to-do list where you can set and prioritise your tasks for the day, and a journal where you can jot down your private thoughts to reflect on later.

Your calendar contents are set to remain private by default, but you can set specific events to share with others to plan your social or business life. The privacy settings are easy to set up and you can choose what you want to get email notifications for — invitations to events from friends, reminders of diary entries, prompts from you to-do list and more.

In the journal section, there are two streams, a private journal and a public blog — the first, as the name suggest, is viewable only by you, and the latter is visible to those friends you invite by email. As well as jotting down your thoughts in your private journal, you can add photos to your entries.

You need to register on the site (it’s free) to use its service and you need to be over 13 years of age to do so. Once you’ve signed up, you can set up your profile and add a picture of yourself plus customise your views with a background image from your PC if you wish.
