There are few more frustrating scenarios than spending time doing a crossword, only to be left with just one or two unsolved clues standing between you and word domination.
Well, the mondofacto site can put you out of your misery. All you need to do is enter the number of letters that make up the elusive word, enter the known letters in the provided boxes (leaving boxes blank where the letters are unknown), click on Search, and you’ll be presented with a list of all the words in the site’s dictionary that fit that letter pattern.
However, as cool as this feature is, it’s just the start of what the mondofacto site has on offer. There’s a general dictionary and a number of topic-specific ones, plus there are anagram solver and a word finder tools. For students, there are also great resources on writing, exams, study and research.
