New Internode broadband plan

Yesterday, ISP Internode announced a great new addition to its plans.

Called Easy Broadband, it offers 30G of uploads and downloads for $49.95 a month. And that’s 30G straight up, not split into peak and off peak blocks, negating the need to schedule your downloading to fit into a particular time period, so it really is ‘easy broadband’. You’re also not locked into a protracted contract — you’re obligation is only month to month.

The 30G limit is very appealing, especially when you consider that Internode offers a load of unmetered content, which includes unlimited ABC iView, Internode streaming radio, TiVo downloads, selected games and more.

The minimum speed supplied for Internode Easy Broadband is a guaranteed 1.5 megabits per second (Mbps). Full-throttle ADSL2+ speeds are provided wherever direct Internode-direct ADSL2+ coverage is available. As Internode builds more DSLAMs, customers will automatically migrate to ADSL2+ speeds.
